price depends on programme length.

You’ll know your default patterns, what to train first, and which programme fits.

Where we begin

I look at how your nervous system responds and recovers under different conditions:

  • Stress
  • Relaxation

We measure your default state.

The assessment shows you what’s actually happening. Not what you assume.

Learning through practice

Skill, not treatment

You’re learning a skill, not receiving treatment. Every session is practice. You might practise breathing while watching your HRV change in real time. Or learn to recognise when muscle tension is rising before you consciously feel it.

Real-time feedback

The biofeedback shows you what’s happening as it happens. You adjust. You learn what works for your body. You practise breathing and learn to catch tension earlier while seeing the signals change in real time.

Portable skills by week 4–5

Early on, you rely on the screen. By week 4 or 5, you recognise the internal signals without looking at it. You can tell when your breathing has shifted, when tension is rising. That’s when the scale becomes portable.

Programmes

Structured for learning, personalised to you.

All training begins with an in-depth assessment. Based on what I observe, I’ll recommend a programme that fits your goals and the patterns we’re working with.

Programmes are structured because learning self-regulation takes repetition and continuity. One-off sessions don’t create lasting change.

8 sessions / 8 weeks

Best for multi-context goals and deeper integration—especially if you need more time or have health considerations.

12 sessions / 12 weeks

Best for complex or chronic patterns, or health considerations. Full cycle: build, consolidate, and transfer skills to daily life.

When do people notice changes ?

Wk 1-2

Awareness increase. You start noticing tension, breathing shifts and activation patterns you weren’t couscous of before.

Wk 3-4

Patterns shift earlier. Recovery after stress begins to change. Breathing techniques become more natural, less effortful.

Wk 4-5

Skills become portable.  You recognize internal signals without the screen. The training moves from the session into everyday.

Wk 6-8

Your default begins to shift. You respond differently without thinking about it.

Wk 8-12

Integration. Skills carry into work, relationships, sleep and movement.

Everyone’s timeline is different. These are patterns I observe across clients, not promises

How is this different from a meditation app or wearable?

Most apps and wearables track one metric (usually heart rate) and give you generic suggestions based on population averages. That is not the same thing.

I measure seven biomarkers simultaneously using medical-grade equipment (Thought Technology Flex Comp), and I build a protocol around what your data actually shows. Every session is guided in real time, adjusted to what your nervous system is doing in that moment.

A wearable tells you that you are stressed. Biofeedback training teaches you how to listen to your body and change its responses.

This is not therapy and it is not treatment. It is skill training. Most of the people I work with are high-functioning, capable, and already doing well by most standards. They come because they want to understand their own stress response better and learn how to regulate it on demand. They may have some underlying conditions which exacerbate their symptoms, but not always.

You do not need a diagnosis to benefit from learning how your body works and getting better at managing it.

Honestly, it varies. Some people notice shifts in breathing patterns and tension awareness within two to three sessions. Skills typically become portable (meaning you can use them outside of sessions, without sensors) by week four or five.

The full effects of a programme compound over time, which is why consistency matters more than speed. I will never promise a timeline because your nervous system is not on anyone else’s schedule.

Yes. Biofeedback training complements other forms of care. It is not a replacement for therapy, medication, or any treatment you are currently receiving.

I work alongside therapists, coaches, and physicians regularly. If you have a clinical team, I am happy to coordinate with them so your training supports what you are already doing.

Before anything else, we have a free 20-minute phone consultation. That call is for you to ask questions and for me to understand whether this is the right fit.

If we move forward, the first in-person session is a 90-minute psychophysiological assessment (EUR 220).

I connect sensors to measure all seven biomarkers, run a series of stress and recovery tasks, and observe how your nervous system responds.

You leave with a detailed report of your patterns and a recommended training programme. No guesswork.

The initial assessment must be done in person at my practice in Lisbon. That is non-negotiable because the full sensor setup requires it.

After that, training sessions can be done virtually or in person, depending on what works for you and the programme we choose.

Home practice is independent, using the professional sensors and app I provide.

The primary system is the Thought Technology Flex Comp. It is medical-grade, used in clinical and research settings worldwide, and measures multiple biomarkers simultaneously through non-invasive sensors placed on the skin.

For home practice and heart rate variability training, I also use the Polar H10 and HeartMath Inner Balance. I test the latest equipment and add them as they come out.

Nothing invasive, nothing uncomfortable.

The assessment determines the recommendation. Based on the patterns I observe, your goals, and how ingrained your existing stress responses are, I will recommend one of three options:

  • six weeks (EUR 570) for focused, specific goals;
  • eight weeks (EUR 760) for broader nervous system training;
  • twelve weeks (EUR 1,200) for complex or long-standing patterns.

All prices exclude VAT.

Fifteen to twenty minutes daily with professional sensors and a guided app. The protocols are adjusted based on what we see in your sessions, so the practice evolves as you progress. This is not optional. Sessions build awareness and teach the skill.

Home practice is where the skill consolidates and becomes yours. Without it, progress stalls.

Yes. Biofeedback is grounded in psychophysiology and supported by decades of clinical research. HRV biofeedback in particular has a strong and growing evidence base for stress regulation, autonomic flexibility, and performance.

I hold five biofeedback certifications through BFE, MindMedia, EGBNV, and HeartMath, and my MSc in Applied Neuroscience is from King’s College London.

My own research examines the integration of biofeedback with movement-based therapies. This is not a trend. It is an established field with serious science behind it.
